"Mark demonstrated exceptional leadership in initiating, conceptualizing, and managing the development of the Inkwell Literary Festival.
His vision and strategic approach transformed the concept into a highly successful event that resonated with diverse audiences. Mark has excellent presentation skills - He communicated ideas with clarity and confidence, building strong rapport with stakeholders and inspiring collaboration. His professionalism and ability to engage high-profile partners ensured the festival’s credibility and impact.
Most impressively, he delivered measurable results: Inkwell attracted a new audience to York University and generated significant interest in the Creative Writing program, reflected in strong application numbers. His work exemplifies innovation, collaboration, and results-driven leadership."

"We just wanted to take a moment to thank Mark for all of his marketing help, which has definitely brought our club out of the stone ages and into the modern day.
It’s true that a volunteer group is only as strong as its weakest link, and since our average age is well past anything considered “mainstream digital,” we struggled with things like having a website and using social media.
Mark helped us not only understand the importance of embracing digital platforms, but also guided us through the full implementation of tools that have increased our visibility and made our club more recognizable in the community.
He also led the rebrand of our biggest annual event, creating greater consistency and stronger public recognition. We know this has made a real impact—we’ve seen year-over-year increases in community engagement and outreach, along with more than double the foot traffic and sales/fundraising.
Left to our own devices, we don’t believe our Lions Club could have achieved any of this, as we simply don’t have members versed in what’s involved in creating what Mark has built for us.
From the Maple Lions Club, a great big THANK YOU!"

"Working with Mark over the past several years has been a privilege. His leadership in initiating, conceptualizing, and managing the development of the Inkwell Literary Festival was exceptional—clear, strategic, and consistently transparent. The board always knew where the project stood because of his thoughtful progress reporting and ability to translate vision into action. I am immensely pleased to have had the opportunity to see Mark’s vision come to life.
I have also worked with Mark through his contributions to the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries. His creative approach through marketing the value of libraries has significantly strengthened FOPL’s online presence and sense of community. The province-wide library profile initiative, in particular, showcased his talent for storytelling and deep understanding of what connects people. It not only elevated engagement across Ontario’s library systems but also helped build a genuine story of impact to take with us as we advocate for libraries. Mark brings both creativity and clarity to every project, and it has made a lasting impact."

"I had the privilege of working with Mark at the very start of my social media career, and his guidance made all the difference. His patience, support, and genuine belief in my potential helped set me on the path I’m on today.
Mark remains a mentor I admire greatly, both professionally and personally. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from him, and I look forward to any chance we have to collaborate again in the future."
